Attorney Cheryl SattinCheryl Sattin practices family law in Montgomery, Chester, Delaware, Bucks and Philadelphia Counties. In 2005 and 2006, Ms. Sattin was recognized as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer, a distinction awarded by her peers to the top 5% of all lawyers in the state. Ms. Sattin emphasizes amicable resolutions to difficult family problems. When such a resolution is not possible, Ms. Sattin is prepared to litigate and to advocate strongly on her client’s behalf. Ms. Sattin hails from the Montgomery County office of the law firm of Cozen O’Connor, a nationally recognized Philadelphia based law firm with offices nationwide. Ms. Sattin served as a partner in the family law department of this firm from 2000 and until February of 2006. From 1998 and until January of 2000 Ms. Sattin served as a Cozen O’Connor associate under then partner, the Honorable Susan Peikes Gantman, Superior Court Judge. From 1993 and until 1998, Ms. Sattin worked at two mid-sized law firms, Sherr Joffe & Zuckerman P.C. in Montgomery County (1995-1998) and Blakinger, Byler & Thomas, in Lancaster County (1993-1995). Ms. Sattin is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Montgomery County Bar Association. She is a member of the family law section of the Montgomery County Bar Association. Ms. Sattin has lectured for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute to practicing lawyers on the Fundamentals of Family Law and has authored a chapter for the PBI on family law issues requiring special judicial relief. She has provided caselaw updates to her local family law practitioners and has authored caselaw summaries for a PBI publication and for the Pennsylvania Bar Reporter. Cheryl is a selected Member of the Professionals for Amicable Divorce organization, an Organization founded to encourage and foster amicable resolutions to difficult Divorce problems. Ms. Sattin attended the Villanova University School of Law, and graduated in 1993. She was selected to represent the School of Law on its Moot Court Board, a distinction awarded based on strength of oral and written argument. Ms. Sattin graduated from Gettysburg College, magna cum laude, in 1990. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Attorney Daniel RoncaDaniel G. Ronca advises clients in all aspects of family law, including divorce, equitable distribution, support, custody, protection from abuse, and adoption. He assists clients in reaching amicable settlements through discussion and negotiation where possible, but is fully prepared and qualified to litigate those matters which require court intervention. Prior to the founding of Sattin & Ronca, Daniel was a partner at the firm of Cozen O'Conner, where he also limited his practice to family law matters. Daniel earned his bachelor of arts degree, with honors, from The Pennsylvania State University in 1983. He earned his law degree from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 1986, where he was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society. Upon graduating law school, Daniel served as an assistant district attorney for Brooklyn, New York and then as a deputy attorney general for the Office of the Attorney General of Pennsylvania. A certified family law mediator, he is a member of the Family Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and serves as Chair of the Montgomery Bar Association Family Law Section. He also serves on the Montgomery County Court Mediation Advisory Panel and is a Master member of The Doris Jonas Freed Family Law Inn of Court. Daniel is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New York and before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He has lectured and has served as course planner for a number of family law seminars presented by the Montgomery Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Institute. Dan is a selected Member of the Professionals for Amicable Divorce organization, an Organization founded to encourage and foster amicable resolutions to difficult Divorce problems. Daniel's community involvement includes serving as Treasurer of the Norristown Aquatic Club, Board Member of the Whitpain Recreation Association, and Stewardship Chair of his church. |
