Daniel G. Ronca, a practicing attorney for over 30 years, advises clients in all aspects of family law, including divorce, equitable distribution, support, custody, protection from abuse, and adoption.
He assists clients in reaching amicable settlements through discussion and negotiation where possible, but is fully prepared and qualified to litigate those matters which require court intervention. In 2009, 2010, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017, Dan was recognized as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer, a distinction awarded by his peers to the top 5% of all lawyers in the state. Dan has also been selected as a Best of MontCo's Family Law Attorney.
Prior to the founding of Sattin & Ronca, Dan was a partner at the firm of Cozen O'Connor, where he also limited his practice to family law matters.
Dan earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, with honors, from The Pennsylvania State University in 1983. He earned his law degree from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 1986, where he was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society. Upon graduating law school, Dan served as an Assistant District Attorney for Brooklyn, New York and then as a Deputy Attorney General for the Office of Attorney General of Pennsylvania.
Dan is a trained family law mediator and has served in that capacity for many families in both custody and divorce related matters. He serves as a Member of the Mediation Advisory Panel to the Montgomery County Court, which provides oversight to the County's custody mediators and advice to the Court.
He is a member of the Family Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and served as Chair of the Montgomery Bar Association Family Law Section. He is also a Master member of The Doris Jonas Freed Family Law Inn of Court. Dan is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New York and before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He has lectured and has served as course planner for a number of family law seminars presented by the Montgomery Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Institute.
Dan's has served as a Vestry Member and as Rector's Warden and Stewardship Chair of his church.
